Thank you for shopping with Seentat. We want you to be confident in your purchase, so this warranty sets out the coverage and procedures if your product requires service.
The Seentat standard warranty, once purchased, guarantees that your product will operate in line with the manufacturer’s specifications for the warranty period stated on your invoice.
For all eligible products, Seentat will provide a 1-year warranty through our company and ensure your product is restored to manufacturer standards wherever possible. Please note that the warranty applies only to the purchased item and not to other products used alongside it. We are legally obligated to supply products that are as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality.
Excluded items
Please note that the warranty does not cover the following:
- Consumable items such as batteries or films
- Non-electronic products or those that do not require electricity (e.g., bags, lens hoods)
- Carrier-related issues for mobile phones or tablets (e.g., SIM card, coverage, service range, etc.)
- Firmware or software-related issues, operating system modifications, rooting, or jailbreaking
Beyond Warranty Coverage
Warranty does not cover damages caused by liquid, intentional damage, damage caused by dropping the product or mistreatment, damage caused by attempting to repair or adapt the device by yourself or a third party. Detailed situations include but not limited to:
- Wear and tear
- Damage caused by impact, shock, fall, sand, dust, dirt, dampness, leaking batteries, fire, theft, attempted theft, vandalism, acts of war or terrorism, corrosion, water contamination or frost, flooding winds, earthquakes, lightning or other adverse weather conditions
- Any accidental or malicious damage
- Any damage due to exposure to moisture, dampness or extreme thermal environment conditions
- Improper usage, storage or handling of the product
- Any damage due to operating with an incorrect or irregular voltage supply
- Any breach of the terms and conditions of this warranty or the contract terms
- Failure to follow our written instructions for the product, or those of the manufacturer’s
- Damage or defect due to wilful neglect or negligence by anyone other than us
- Loss of quality, degradation of performance or actual damage that results from the use of spare parts or other replaceable items (such as consumables) that are neither made nor recommended by the manufacturer
- Modification to the product and/or software by someone other than our representatives
- The product serial has been removed or made illegible
- Connection of other fittings, accessories, equipment or software to the product which were not approved by us
- External causes out of our control, which may include accidents, fire disasters or Repair or cleaning by unauthorized personnel
- Any malfunctions or specific requirements of any other item of hardware or software which you added to the product that was not included in the contract
- Correction of errors for any non-TechInTheBasket or original manufacturer proprietary software
- Loss or damage of data
- Attaching the product to a network not approved by us, or if you have made changes to your operating or network system
- Not installing any error correction that is issued for the software
- Use of which is not designed
- Damaged Display on Screen (LCD) due to improper usage
- Non-Manufacturer defect on Lenses
- Liquid damage
- Damage due to improper packing during shipment to the service centre or the service agent
How to Request a Warranty
- Submitting a Warranty Claim
To make a claim, please contact customer service and provide full details of the issue.
You must provide both photos and videos that meet the following requirements:
- Clearly show the IMEI number or serial number on both the product and its box
- Show all angles of the product to document its overall condition
- Clearly display the specific problem you are experiencing
- Ship Products to Tech Centre
Once you receive the first confirmation of your repair / return case, please send us the parcel with all accessories and the original box within 14 days. If the parcel is not sent within this timeframe, Seentat reserves the right to reject the case. You will initially need to pay the shipping cost to return the faulty item to our warehouse.
Important reminders before returning
- Back up your data: For your data’s safety, we kindly recommend making a full backup before sending the device. While we will handle your item with care, we cannot fully guarantee that data will not be lost during the process, and we appreciate your understanding.
- Unlock the device: Please ensure that all apps and the device are unlocked.
- Return a full set: The return must be a complete set with all accessories, including the original box and packing.
- Inspection & Reimbursement
Upon receiving the item, our technical team will inspect it. Once the fault or error is confirmed, we will fully reimburse you for the return shipping costs you incurred.
However, if, after technical inspection, the product is found to work normally and no fault is present, or if the issue does not match or cannot be reproduced as described by the customer, or if the issue is determined to fall outside the scope of warranty coverage*, the return shipping cost will not be reimbursed. You will be notified of this outcome and will be required to pay the cost of shipping the product back to you. If no response or payment is received from you within 30 days of this notification, Seentat reserves the right to deal with the item at our discretion, which includes but is not limited to reselling, disposing of, or destroying the product without further notice.
Remedies Within the Warranty Period
If the item has a quality issue during the 1-year warranty period, we will offer a free repair. If we cannot successfully repair the item, we will offer an exchange or a partial refund*.
*The final refund amount will be calculated according to the item's status and usage time after tech inspection, and a deduction may be applied to reflect the use you have had from the product.
