At Seentat, your satisfaction is important to us. Our return and refund policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and fully compliant with UK consumer protection laws.
1. Order Cancellation
Customer retains the statutory right to cancel the order within 14 days of receiving the item. However, the customer must contact Seentat customer service team to request approval. Once approved, our customer service will share the return address*. Returns without prior approval will not be accepted. Customers have a further 7 days to dispatch the item back to our designated return address physically. If you don’t ship your item within 7 days, we will regard the refund request as cancelled.
*The address listed on the website is just the business registration address. It is NOT for returning. Please do NOT return the parcel to that address.
2. Required Documentation for Returns
When requesting a refund, the customer must provide the following documentation to our customer service team by filling out this form.
- Valid payment proof and the order confirmation letter.
- The corresponding Order Number (Order No).
- Clear photos demonstrating each side of the product and accessories, including all parts, charging cables, user manuals, and packaging, etc.
- If the item is mobile, the IMEI number should be provided as well.
3. Return Shipping Costs (Change of Mind)
For any "change of mind" returns made before the order has been processed, the customer can get a full refund.
For any "change of mind" returns made after the order has been processed, Seentat reserves the right to deduct a certain percentage out of the order amount, depending on the item's condition due to diminished value. And the customer is responsible for bearing the direct shipping cost of returning the product to us. Please refer to section 6 for detailed criteria. All returns must be sent using a tracked shipping service. Customers must provide tracking numbers and clear photos of the return parcel once shipped. Seentat is not liable for any return parcels lost in transit.
4. Incorrect Items*
If you receive an incorrect item, you must request a refund or an exchange within 14 days of receiving your order. After this 14-day window has passed, we do not accept requests for refunds or exchanges, except in the case of faulty goods.
*Seentat sources products globally. For clarity, under Seentat’s global sourcing model, product model numbers or packaging may differ due to regional variations. Items with the same specifications and functionality as described on the product listing are considered the same item and will not be treated as incorrect due to such differences.
5. Faulty Goods & 1-Year Warranty
We offer a 1-year warranty on our products. We are legally obligated to supply products that are as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality.
- Return Process: You will initially need to pay the shipping cost to return the faulty item to our warehouse.
- Inspection & Reimbursement: Upon receiving the item, our technical team will inspect it. Once the fault or error is confirmed, we will fully reimburse you for the return shipping costs you incurred.
- Non-Faulty or Beyond Warranty Coverage: If, after technical inspection, the product is found to work normally and no fault is present, or if the issue does not match or cannot be reproduced as described by the customer, or if the issue is determined to fall outside the scope of warranty coverage*, the return shipping cost will not be reimbursed. You will be notified of this outcome and will be required to pay the cost of shipping the product back to you. If no response or payment is received from you within 30 days of this notification, Seentat reserves the right to deal with the item at our discretion, which includes but is not limited to reselling, disposing of, or destroying the product without further notice.
*Please check the Warranty policy for warranty coverage.
- Remedies Within the Warranty Period: If the item has a quality issue during the 1-year warranty period, we will offer a free repair. If we cannot successfully repair the item, we will offer an exchange or a partial refund.
- Deduction for Usage: The final refund amount will be calculated according to the item's status and usage time after tech inspection, and a deduction may be applied to reflect the use you have had from the product.
6. Condition of Returned Items & Diminished Value
Due to the nature of electronic products, once the original packaging is unsealed, the product value drops immediately in the market. And the market price is fluctuating every day. Therefore, we process returns differently based on the order status and product conditions.
- Original Condition:
- If the customer notifies the customer service team before the order is processed, the customer will get a full refund.
- If the order has been processed, no matter dispatched or not,
The product is returned in its original condition, remain completely sealed ( Except for products that don’t come sealed), have no missing parts, and be in a state that does not impact resale. We will deduct a diminished value fee of 10% from your refund.
- Otherwise, please refer to the terms below for the unoriginal condition.
- Unoriginal Condition:
- Complete sets: If the products have been unsealed, but all parts are returned, we will deduct a diminished value fee of up to 30% from your refund.
- Incomplete sets: If some parts are missing, or have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary, we will deduct a diminished value fee of up to 50% from your refund.
The deduction percentage depends on the result of the tech inspection. This deduction is legally permitted to account for the loss in the product's value caused by consumer handling.
7. Hygiene & Non-Returnable Items
Due to health and hygiene concerns, all personal care products, earbuds, and headphones are strictly non-refundable after order dispatch. The only exception to this policy is if the product is found to be faulty or incorrect upon arrival.
8. Important reminders before returning
- Backup data: For your data’s safety, we kindly recommend making a full backup before sending the device. While we will handle your item with care, we cannot fully guarantee that data will not be lost during the process, and we appreciate your understanding.
- Unlock the device: Please ensure that all apps and the device are unlocked.
- Return a complete set: The return must be a complete set with all accessories, including the original box and packing.
9. How We Process Refunds
- Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned item from you.
- Original Shipping Fees: If you cancel your entire order within the 14-day cooling-off period, we will refund your original standard outbound delivery costs. If you opted for a premium delivery service, that is non-refundable.
- Payment Method: Refunds will be returned to the original method of payment*.
* The customer has to bear the transaction fee, if any.
Seentat may update or amend this policy at any time without prior notice.
In the event of a dispute, Seentat’s decision shall be final.
